Florence Ndikum-Moffor

Florence Ndikum-Moffor, PhD, MPH is a postdoctoral fellow, in the department of Preventive Medicine & Public Health at the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC), working in the area of cancer research. She is currently Program Manager on a project to assess mammography satisfaction among American Indian/Alaskan Native women. The objective of the project is to gain a better understanding of the mammography experience and satisfaction of American Indian/Alaskan Native women with the hopes of developing culturally-tailored mammography interventions that would encourage utilization of mammography services by this target population. Previous experiences include research in the areas of biochemical toxicology and reproductive physiology and management of pre-clinical drug-drug interaction studies in a pharmaceutical contract research organization. Other experiences include work on health disparities among Latinos in Kansas City, health care development work with safety net clinics in Kansas City, and international humanitarian disaster relief work and global health initiatives.
