Internships

2017 Summer Internships

Each summer, we have a paid eight-week internship in June and July. All interns gain valuable, hands-on experience on research projects related to health disparities in American Indian communities. We accept college undergraduate, graduate and medical students. College and graduate/medical students work 40 hours per week.

Student interns are based at the Center for American Indian Community Health offices on the KU Medical Center Campus. Interns will also spend time in American Indian communities throughout Kansas, and Missouri. There will also be a one-week service trip to the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation in South Dakota.

The deadline for Summer Internships is March 10, 2017.
