Komen Scholars

We currently have scholarship opportunities for Native students who would like to pursue a Master’s in Public Health from KUMC, focusing on breast cancer disparities among American Indians.  This program fully funds three students each year for three years (we are currently in our second year) to obtain an MPH, also funding them for research assistantships.  All students in this program will focus their MPH and the culminating practicum experience on American Indian breast cancer disparities.  The overall goal of this program is to increase the number of Native people conducting breast cancer research.
