Lance Cully

Lance Cully, Research Technician and Artistic Director, joined the Department of Preventive Medicine & Public Health in May 2010 prior to joining the team Lance was a volunteer for many of projects within Center for American Indian Community Health (CAICH) and American Indian Research and Education Alliance (AIHREA).  Since Lance has joined our team he has been our artist he designs the majority of all of the artwork used by our team.  Lance has also been a facilitator for our quit smoking program All Nations Breath of Life as well as the project director for Community Ambassadors to Cancer Research.  Lance has been very successful in community outreach for our program working with the American Indian Community to promote our research programs.   Lance has actively participating in various aspects of his culture since childhood, he brings a strong community presence for the Kansas City area in addition to being familiar with the Lawrence AI community and the four tribes located in Northeast Kansas.  Mr. Cully has been a member of the AI community in the greater Kansas City area since 2007 and is very familiar with the various organizations with whom we collaborate and the AI cultural events in the area.
