Melissa Filippi

Melissa Filippi is a research instructor  and holds a joint appointment in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Public Health and the Department of Family Medicine. She has been working with underserved populations since she was an undergraduate in 1997. She is a medical anthropologist and focuses on qualitative research. Since joining CAICH, she has been involved with a variety of projects, including ANBL and breast and colorectal cancer projects. Currently, she is part of the education and community cores. Melissa is proud to be part of a team that practices community-based participatory research.
